Joel Berg’s Australian speaking tour

Joel Berg is a leading U.S. activist, researcher, and media spokesperson on domestic hunger and poverty. He is Executive Director of the New York City Coalition Against Hunger, a not for profit organization which works to “enact innovative solutions to help society move ‘beyond the soup kitchen’ to ensure economic and food self-sufficiency for all Americans”. He is the author of  “All you can eat: how hungry is America?”

Joel was as a guest of the Sydney based Right to Food Coalition and in addition to being a key note at the conference, participated in a range of media interviews and public meetings across Australia in October.
